Nudge is built on a simple idea: your reminders are your business. We collect only what's necessary to make the app work, and we'll never sell your data or use it for advertising.
The short version: Your reminder data stays private. We don't use third-party analytics or tracking. You can delete everything at any time.
What we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — to identify your account and enable sign-in
Your nudges
We store the reminders you create, including:
- Reminder text
- Due dates and times
- Completion status
- Intensity settings
This data is stored securely in our cloud database so your nudges sync across devices.
Smart notification timing
Nudge learns your patterns to send reminders at better times. We store usage patterns securely in your account, including:
- When you typically complete certain types of reminders
- Patterns in your reminder habits
- Completion history
This data is used only to improve your reminder timing and is never shared or sold. You can adjust notification preferences at any time in Settings.
Device information
We collect device tokens to send you push notifications. We don't collect location data or other device information.
Purchase information
If you subscribe to Nudge Pro, purchase information is handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but don't have access to your payment details.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to anyone
- We don't use third-party analytics or tracking
- We don't send promotional or marketing notifications
- We don't share your data with advertisers
How we store your data
Your account and reminder data are stored securely in Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your rights
Delete your data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. Deletion is permanent and immediate — we don't keep backups of deleted accounts.
Control notifications
You control when and how we notify you. Choose your notification windows, adjust intensity, or turn off notifications entirely.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. We'll never reduce your privacy protections without your explicit consent.
